Pada Matchday 1 fase grup Liga Champions tengah pekan ini, penonton sudah bisa menyaksikan jadwal yang menguntungkan tersebut. Pada dua hari, yakni Selasa (18/9/2018) dan Rabu (19/9/2018), beberapa klub besar bakal bermain pukul 23.55 WIB.
Inter Milan menjamu Tottenham Hotspur dan aksi Barcelona kedatangan PV Eindhoven di Estadio Camp Nou, menjadi dua laga yang dimulai pukul 23.55 WIB. Pertempuran empat klub tersebut menjadi sajian dari Grup B.
Sementara itu, pada Rabu (19/9/2018) malam, sajian berasal dari Grup E dan Grup F. Ajax Amsterdam menjamu wakil Yunani, AEK Athena dan Shakhtar Donetsk versus Hoffenheim. UEFA berharap, penambahan jam pertandingan Liga Champions bisa memberi alternatif bagi penggemar, terutama di kawasan Asia.
