Jakarta - PSSI berpotensi mendapatkan sanksi dari FIFA jika tak segera melunasi gaji pelatih Timnas Indonesia Luis Milla. Juga tanggungan sewa rumah yang ditalangi Milla.
Komite Eksekutif PSSI membuka tunggakan gaji Luis Milla selama tiga bulan dengan nilai Rp 6,9 miliar. Sumber juga menyatakan jika PSSI tak membayar sewa rumah Milla di Bali hingga pelatih asal Spanyol itu harus menalangi biaya mulai Februari hingga Agustus.
PSSI merespons dengan tengah berkomunikasi dengan Milla untuk memperpanjang kontrak setahun lagi. PSSI menyebut pelatih asal Spanyol itu belum memberikan jawaban.
Pernyataan PSSi lewat sekjen Ratu Tisha Destria itu dimentahkan sumber dengan menyebut sampai saat ini tidak ada komunikasi dengan si pelatih. PSSI pun tak mengajak bicara Milla untuk menyampaikan niat menambah kontrak sebelum Milla meninggalkan Indonesia.
PSSI bersikukuh masih butuh waktu untuk meyakinkan Milla dan memberi waktu hingga 15 September.
Pemerhati sepakbola nasional, Akmal Marhali, menilai PSSI seharusnya jujur kepada publik soal kondisi tersebut. Selain itu, PSSI tetap wajib membayar hutang yang menjadi hak Milla.
"Utang itu bahkan bisa membuat PSSI dihukum FIFA. Apabila, PSSI tidak berniat memperpanjang kontrak Luis Milla. Segala kewajiban harus segera diselesaikan. Mulai dari utang dan akomodasi tempat tinggal yang belum dibayarkan," ujar Akmal saat dihubungi, Rabu (12/9/2018).
Menurut Akmal jika PSSI tak segera menyelesaikan tunggakan itu, bukan tak mungkin Milla bakal melaporkannya kepada FIFA. Hal itu akan membuat PSSI disanksi oleh federasi sepakbola dunia itu.
"Penting ini untuk diselesaikan segera. Jika tidak, masalahnya bisa panjang. Milla bisa saja melapor ke FIFA dan PSSI pastinya akan kena sanksi," ujar dia.
"PSSI harus jadi contoh anggotanya (klub). Banyak klub yang tak bayar gaji pemain. Lalu pemain melapor ke FIFA dan akhirnya mendapatkan sanksi berupa denda dan pengurangan poin. Bukan mustahil itu akan terjadi pula ke PSSI," kata Akmal.
"Dan, ini akan membuat murwah PSSI jatuh. Baik, di mata anggota maupun dunia. Ketika drama terus dimainkan dan tercium publik ini satu kebohongan akan menyulitkan PSSI mendapatkan trust dari masyarakat. Padahal, menjaga trust adalah tugas utama PSSI. Itu salah satu program utama dalam kaitan reformasi tata kelola sepakbola nasional," dia menegaskan.
"Harus diingat pula Luis Milla itu pelatih profesional. Mantan pemain profesional di klub besar (Barcelona dan Real Madrid) dan pelatih timnas Spanyol U-19. Artinya, bicara profesional publik akan lebih percaya kepada Luis Milla dibandingkan PSSI," ujar dia.
